… and confused by the way her Math curriculum was presenting place value and addition, so we paused it for awhile and used your intro book to get her caught up on Math concepts. It helped so much and she was able to get the concepts right away with the Rekenrek. Thanks so much for putting this together! — E.A.

… She was so personable and interacted with the children in attendance that made my son so eager to learn more. The hands-on use of the Rekenrek coupled with the workbooks have been a game changer. We are getting ready to move on to the Division Workbook but with the building blocks already learned he can calculate basic division already!

… too tedious and redundant or didn’t give foundational skills in ant sort of manner that made sense. He had a good number sense but was missing some key building blocks that I couldn’t put my finger on. This year we started with the first book and work on it for approx 20-30 minutes per day. We quickly went thru the first and while it seemed it was something we had already learned and was just a review it somehow clicked into those areas he had been shaky on. By the time we hit adding in by Thousands…he was able to do most of the problems IN HIS HEAD . We still reviewed the strategies but he would have the answer before I could get it shown to him . We are moving into multiplication and he already has the basic understanding of how it works! This program is so simple to implement while still giving all the necessary tools for application and use! — T.J.

… my daughter was in public school for pre-k through 1st. She had an IEP because of suspected autism, and had a couple math related IEP goals but nothing related to number sense. I didn’t even know what number sense WAS until a year into home schooling, I could not figure out why math was such a struggle! One day I asked her to show me 7 fingers (this was early 3rd grade), and she had to look down and count one by one, and even then didn’t show me 7. I realized she basically had zero number sense and the names of numbers may as well have been random items! We’ve come a long way but it’s been challenging to find a good fit in curriculum. So far this has been JUST what she needed, and happens to fit really well with the Singapore math we were already doing. —- S.S.
“My two children have benefited greatly from learning math this way. I took it for granted how seamless it has been, until I was recently asked to tutor a struggling math student. I knew just what to do — ten frames!”
— L. D.
“My students and I have benefited so much from Framework Math and its way of thinking and teaching. The book presents math in such a great way with ten and place value as the key. So many strategies are given to open the door of math mastery. Math becomes fun and I find myself using these strategies and challenging myself to solve problems using these new strategies.”
— E. D.
Sandra is fantastic with Math, her teaching style is so kid-friendly and her step-by step courses are the best that I have come across in years. Her foundational Math courses will serve your children well in the primary years and prepare them for the advanced levels.”
— M. S.
“This is a fantastic class. My child learned a lot and Sandra is very patient in her teaching. The strategies taught were easy to understand and perfect for my child’s level. The experience was beyond our expectations! I wish you could be my child’s Math teacher!”
— L.S., parent
(after a live class based on this program)
“My son loves this program and your explanations are so clear. I told him that if I could have gotten a solid foundation in math at his age, like what he’s getting because of your curriculum, it would have changed my life and opened many doors. I just wanted to let you know that your work and passion is such a blessing to so many!”
— M. A.
“This is a great way to learn math without boring repetitions and memorizing!”
— R.W. and Z.W., parent and student
“My daughter has flourished with your number sense course. … I feel like it has been the greatest homeschool success yet!”
— K. S.
“Such an easy way for kids to truly understand the meaning of numbers and how to use them!”
